The segment also addresses mediation self-represented individuals, offering strategies to effectively handle their unique challenges.

Senior Judge, JAMS

Hon. Gail S. Tusan, Senior Judge, brings over 30 years of judicial service in various Georgia jurisdictions to her work at JAMS. She recently retired from her sixth elected term as a superior court judge in Fulton County, where she served two terms as chief judge. Judge Tusan was instrumental in the design and launch of the Family Division, which introduced a case management system incorporating mediations and judicially hosted settlement conferences, where she served for over a decade.

At JAMS, Judge Tusan has mediated and arbitrated disputes involving commercial contracts, real estate, distributor/supplier agreements, family business and law matters, FLSA and employment contracts, discrimination, and civil rights issues. Many of these cases involved multiple parties. Recently, she has also handled matters using video technology for remote ADR processes.
