This presentation will provide an overview of investor visas, including the EB-5 investor program as well as E-2 investor non-immigrant visas, with insights on how to make sure your clients have realistic expectations about the entire process. Ali Brodie, Co-Chair of both the Immigration practice and the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Services at Fox Rothschild will be speaking about the nuts and bolts of investor immigrant and non-immigrant visas and how attorneys can stay ahead of potential pitfalls that can cause significant delays. Michael T. Clark, Corporate Partner and Co-Chair of the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Services at Fox Rothschild will highlight the securities issues involved in the investor visa process and the compliance red flags you should be aware of. Topics to be covered will also include best practices and the status of the Regional Center Program.

She represents companies and individuals in business immigration, employer compliance and EB-5 matters. She advises startups and established companies in connection with visa sponsorship of foreign nationals and permanent residency as well as counsels investors and entrepreneurs on securing visas or permanent residency. She also helps companies assess immigration compliance (Form I-9, E-Verify) and train relevant personnel on federal and state employer verification laws with particular focus in the hotel, restaurant, construction and gaming industries.
