The panel will explain how best to present your argument to the Court, the impact of the payee?s failure to seek employment, receipt of inheritance, new mate income, the effect of a temporary decrease in income to the payor that has become more common due to COVID-19; the retirement and timing of the taking of social security benefits by either party; the passage of time affecting the marital standard of living; Richmond orders and termination of spousal support.

Gary Roberts is a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. Roberts held several positions at Fox Entertainment Group from 1993 to 2017, including executive vice president of Fox Group Legal and senior vice president and vice president of employment. Roberts was an associate at Munger, Tolles and Olson LLP from 1985 to 1993 and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Reynaldo G. Garza at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit from 1984 to 1985. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Michael M. Johnson.
Anne K. Richardson is a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. Richardson assumed office in 2018.
Mr. Lepak is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He received an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin in 1984, and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987. He was a partner at the former and preeminent family law firm of Trope and Trope LLP in Los Angeles.
Mr. Lepak is in his third consecutive year as chair of the Law Practice Management & Technology Section. He was also co-chair of the Family Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association for 2015-2016 and is currently on the Board of Governors for that Association. In 2019 Mr. Lepak received the prestigious President’s Award for his efforts at the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is also a member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
