Erika L. Shao is a partner and trial attorney at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani. Erika specializes in litigating single and multi-plaintiff employment cases with a focus on litigating cases through trial. Erika also counsels employers on issues including workplace accommodations and harassment training. Erika successfully defeated a pregnancy discrimination claim at trial. Erika was previously on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Chapter of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network), whose mission is to ensure that every member of the school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Cortney Shegerian, founder of Shegerian Conniff LLP, was named one of the “Most Influential Women Lawyers in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2017, 2019 and 2021 and one of the youngest attorneys in California to argue a case before the California Supreme Court. Cortney has extensive experience litigating claims of pregnancy discrimination, harassment and retaliation on behalf of employees. Cortney has tried cases in both State and Federal Court and has argued in front of the California Court of Appeal. She is an active Board Member for the Peggy Albrecht Friendly House, a volunteer for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Domestic Violence Program at Stanley Mosk and a volunteer at the Sojourn Battered Women’s Shelter in Santa Monica. Cortney was recently selected as a Superlawyers Rising Star in 2022.

Mandana Torabi, M.D. is a dual board certified psychiatrist specializing in Child & Adolescent psychiatry and General adult psychiatry who will speak to the devastating impacts of pregnancy discrimination. Dr. Torabi has served as inpatient Unit Chief of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital and is a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and American Psychiatric Association.

Eve Wagner, Esq. joined Signature Resolution in 2019 as a mediator and arbitrator. She has mediated and arbitrated hundreds of cases involving employment, entertainment, business, and real estate matters.  
 
More than 18 years ago, Ms. Wagner expanded her litigation practice to include mediation and arbitration.
