Hon. Elizabeth P. Scully serves as a judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, bringing decades of experience in family law to the bench. She earned her B.A. in Classics (Latin) magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1993 and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1996. Following her admission to the California Bar, she practiced at prominent firms and later co-founded Jacobson Scully LLP. A Certified Family Law Specialist, Judge Scully also contributed to legal education as an adjunct professor at UCLA School of Law and Whittier College of Law. Her dedication to public service includes leadership roles with the Beverly Hills Bar Association and nonprofit family law organizations. She was appointed to the bench in 2020 and was re-elected in 2022.
