The BHBA Startup law Initiative intends to provide practical legal resources to the startup community through a series of carefully designed webinars offered in two parts, a list of selected texts, and a library of downloadable reference materials.
Through a series of webinars with scheduled question and answer periods, cohorts of founders, managers and advisors of startups will be informed about basic legal requirements and best practices for establishing and growing innovative enterprises.
William K. Norman is a Partner of the Southern California tax law firm of Norman & Zak. He is a Certified Specialist in Taxation Law (State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization). He is admitted to practice in California and Wyoming and has practiced tax law for over 35 years. His practice is focused on international tax and business law.
After many years of practice with large, mid-size and local law firms in Beverly Hills, the South Bay of Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest, Layton Pace opened his own law practice. He currently practices in the heart of downtown Hermosa Beach. Mr. Pace provides tax and tax-related legal advice to sophisticated business and real estate clients, fiduciaries, and law and accounting firms of various sizes with complex transactions, structuring and tax controversy needs. Mr. Pace’s clients range throughout California, conduct a wide variety of business activities and include non-residents of the U.S. and California.
