About the Program

Immigration is at the center of a lot of national debate these days, but how many of us understand how the U.S. immigration system works? In this presentation, immigration attorneys Jennie Guilfoyle and Kristen Nilsen of VECINA will provide a comprehensive overview of our immigration system — from a look at the pathways to a green card and U.S. citizenship, to how our immigration court and detention and deportation systems work. You’ll leave with an overall understanding of the immigration system.
