Joseph A. Broyles is a licensed California Certified Public Accountant and Attorney at Law, and the founder of The Law Offices of Joseph A. Broyles, Inc. After nine years as an IRS Revenue Agent, he has spent the past 27 years representing individuals and businesses before the IRS, FTB, BOE, and EDD in civil and criminal tax disputes, including income, estate, sales, employment, and property tax audits, appeals, and litigation. Kathy Morris is the founder of Under Advisement, Ltd., where she has advised lawyers and law students on career advancement since 1988, drawing on prior experience as Chief Training & Development Officer at Sidley Austin LLP and Director of Career Planning at Northwestern University School of Law. She is the creator of the ABA Legal Career Center and serves as the featured career counselor for the Chicago Bar Association’s Career Advancement Program. In 2019, she became the only legal career counselor invited to join the Forbes Coaches Council, where she has since led the FCC Women Coaches Group and served in the pilot role of Member Leader Emerita.

Lisa Callif is a Founding Partner of Donaldson Callif Perez and represents independent producers and production companies in equity financing, production, and distribution, with deep expertise in fair use, copyright, and personal rights issues. Her clients include Richard Linklater, AGC Studios, Submarine Deluxe, Asteria, the Safdie Brothers’ Elara, and the documentary division of Artists Equity, and she has been honored as a “Power Lawyer” by The Hollywood Reporter, one of “America’s Top Women Lawyers” by Forbes, and a “Top Entertainment Lawyer” by the Daily Journal, among other accolades.

Stacey Chuvaieva is an Associate in Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp’s Corporate, Litigation and Regulatory Practice Groups, focusing her practice on entertainment and technology transactions—including technology licensing, open source, video game and music publishing—as well as privacy and EU data protection regulation. She holds CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and prior to joining the firm, she worked as legal counsel at Wargaming Group Limited and as a technology and IP litigation lawyer at Baker McKenzie’s Kyiv office. Her representative work includes advising Kojima Productions on music licensing for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and serving as Chair of the Information Technology Committee of the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law (2024-2025).

David is an international law academic and author. His work is a distinctive combination of academic achievement, corporate “hands-on” experience and an extensive media/writing track record. He is Assistant Professor in the School of Law and Criminology at the National University of Ireland Maynooth (NUIM), Adjunct Professor at the Faculté de Droit, L’Université Catholique de Lyon (UCLy), and an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS), University of London. His teaching, research and advisory work spans law and technology, cyberlaw, compliance and legal ethics, entertainment law, and legal communication. His books include a ground-breaking legal text “Law and Technology” (Bloomsbury, 2025), “Effective Communication for Lawyers: A Practical Guide” (Edward Elgar, 2022), and “Strategic Internal Communication: How to Build Employee Engagement and Performance” (Kogan Page, 2014; 2nd edn. 2016).

Before entering academia, David worked in journalism, corporate communications and public affairs, living and working across Europe, US, Canada, the Gulf and Asia. He has led global M&A, business integration, communication, compliance, and digital projects, and delivered leadership workshops on five continents, holding leadership and consultancy roles across the finance, technology, and industrial sectors. As a writer and editor, he worked for legal, technology, and financial media, including the Financial Times, Euromoney, Reed International, and numerous technology, finance, and legal trade journals. He has also contributed to research and writing projects for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

David is a graduate of the University of Oxford, The Honorable Society of King’s Inns, and the University of St Andrews, where he earned his PhD in International Relations. He is a former Visiting Scholar at Boston College, USA, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). He is a member of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS), and an academic member of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association (LAIPLA), Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA), Association of Media & Entertainment Counsel (AMEC), and the Bar of Ireland’s Media, Internet, and Data Protection Bar Association (MIDBA).

Jamison Gilmore is an Associate Attorney at Weinberg Gonser LLP whose practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, including trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, copyright infringement, and unfair business practices matters across industries such as media and entertainment, technology, healthcare, energy, and construction. He handles all phases of litigation and arbitration—from pleadings and discovery through dispositive motions, depositions, and trial—and has prevailed at every trial and arbitration he has handled, securing permanent injunctions, judgments, and significant attorneys’ fees awards. Before entering private practice at King & Spalding LLP and Blank Rome LLP, Jamison externed for U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Wilner (ret.) and clerked for three Los Angeles Superior Court Judges, preparing over 3,000 tentative orders, none of which were reversed on appeal.

Ryan Garfat is the CEO of Pangea Entertainment Productions, bringing over 20 years of experience in media, journalism, and entertainment content creation. He also serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Pangea Cup, building on a career that includes senior leadership roles at ESPN—where he built the network’s first gaming-centric studio and led global esports coverage—and Kroenke Esports, where he oversaw business operations for the L.A. Gladiators and L.A. Guerrillas. A Miami University journalism graduate, Ryan has earned multiple industry awards for his esports coverage and storytelling, and continues to shape the intersection of media, sports, and gaming.
