About this program
Sheri Bonstelle of Greenberg Glusker will provide an overview of the highlights of the SB79 statute and a legal analysis of related local ordinances and policies in Southern California, while Trevor Damyan, Commercial Mortgage Broker, will summarize the impact on real property valuations and sales for new housing developments. The extensive density increases in immediate proximity to single family residence neighborhoods often surprise both homeowners and attorneys they consult, but with little recourse. Politicians and City Planner’s hands are often tied, but development opportunities may be significantly increased, subject to careful financial analysis given the twists and turns in practical application. Joseph Cobert of Cobert Law will moderate the discussion.
