Beverly Hills, CA – October 1, 2026 – Veteran California family lawyer Alphonse F. Provinziano was sworn in as the 2026-2027 president of Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA) on Wednesday, September 23, at the Skirball Cultural Center, taking the helm of an organization that has grown tremendously during his time in leadership.
As founder, managing partner, and senior trial attorney at the Provinziano & Associates law firm in Beverly Hills, Provinziano is a Certified Family Law Specialist and a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, known for his work with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth divorces, including those with cross-border international legal issues.
He is highly sought after for his experience with the nuanced and complex financial matters that arise in these cases. As president, his priorities for the coming year include increasing the number of BHBA’s in-person events, expanding outreach to the next generation of lawyers, and growing BHBA’s legislative advocacy efforts.
BHBA’s growth in recent years has been significant, coinciding with its emergence as California’s leading provider of continuing legal education (CLE). The association now has nearly 8,500 members distributed throughout 45 practice area sections. Members get free access to CLEs, a benefit that has helped membership more than quadruple since 2020. The past year included more than 323,000 webinar registrations—a more than 50% increase over the prior year—and more than 45,000 hours of on-demand CLE viewing. BHBA won first place in both the “Best Continuing Legal Education Provider” and “Best Online CLE Provider” categories in The Recorder’s 2026 Best Of awards for the second consecutive year and expanded its county bar association CLE partnerships to 16 counties throughout California.
Joining Provinziano on the executive committee are:
- Mathew S. Rosengart, President-Elect: Co-Chair, National Media & Entertainment Litigation Group at Greenberg Traurig
- Ron Reitshtein, Vice President: Family law at Youngman Reitshtein, PLC
- Rudolph Lehrer, Secretary/Treasurer: Complex litigation and family law at Lehrer Law, APC
- Anthony D. Storm, Immediate Past President: Mediator at Signature Resolution
- Nia Wahl, Barristers Chair: Criminal defense at Werksman Jackson Quinn & Mason LLP
New BHBA Elected Governors are Marshall R. Cole, Keith Kelly, and Karen Silver. New ex officio governors are Los Angeles Superior Court Judges Doreen B. Boxer and Alan B. Honeycutt, along with Dean Darby Dickerson of Southwestern Law School.
The Beverly Hills Bar Foundation also welcomed its 2026-27 leaders, with Anthony D. Storm sworn in as president and Asif Arif and Ines Lassalle joining as Directors.
