Dr. Seagull Haiyan Song

Dr. Seagull Haiyan Song is an International Partner in the Intellectual Property Department at King & Wood, where she heads the firm’s Artificial Intelligence and Tech/Media/Entertainment practice. With nearly three decades of experience practicing IP and entertainment law in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and the United States, she has served as in-house counsel for major global sports and entertainment companies and as a law professor, and she advises multinational clients on AI, copyright, data privacy, cross-border transactions, and IP strategy. She is the author of the leading Chinese treatise Entertainment Law and was named an Asia Law Leading Lawyer in intellectual property for five consecutive years.
