Hon. Keri G. Katz (Ret.) has over 39 years of experience in the legal field, including extensive civil litigation. She now serves as a mediator, arbitrator, referee, and special master at Signature Resolution. She has contributed to many successful complex settlements and mediations as a neutral, arbitrator, judge, and litigator. Judge Katz is recognized for her ability to understand complex legal and factual issues and to find practical solutions to resolve disputes with patience and persistence. Throughout her legal career as a litigator and judge, she has handled numerous cases across various legal areas. As a City Attorney, she represented the mayor, the city engineer, and multiple departments, including the Capital Projects and Water Departments, in litigation, settlement conferences, and mediations. She has litigated and settled complex disputes involving construction, professional liability, contracts, inverse condemnation, civil rights, and real property. As a Superior Court Judge, she presided over a civil independent calendar department, hearing hundreds of civil cases, including trials involving complex construction, engineering, and contractual disputes.
