Jonathan Kornman is a Los Angeles-based attorney with a specialization in entertainment, dedicated to representing creative professionals in television, film, music, and podcasting. Jonathan attended Southwestern Law School’s accelerated 2-year SCALE program on an academic scholarship, where he received a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence and placed as a finalist in both Moot Court and Negotiation Honors intramural competitions. During law school, Jonathan complemented his specialization in entertainment with internships at Abrams Garfinkel Margolis & Bergson LLP, Concord Music Group, and Southwester’s Entertainment & the Arts Legal Clinic. Prior to embarking on a legal career, Jonathan was a talent agent at the boutique music agency Liaison Artists, representing over thirty electronic musicians touring North and South America. Jonathan’s experience also includes working in podcast production for the networks ACAST and OBB, including serving as Executive Producer for the popular sex therapy show “Sex with Emily.” Beyond his professional pursuits in law and entertainment, Jonathan is a DJ and hosts a monthly music history show for Los Angeles’ community radio station Dublab. Jonathan is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a first-generation attorney in his family.
