Justin D. Scheid is Deputy Area Counsel (Area 3) with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Large Business and International Division. Among his other responsibilities, he acts as a primary contact for the Global High Wealth Practice Network. In his immediately prior role as an Associate Area Counsel, he served as a legal advisor to revenue agents conducting Global High Wealth, partnership, and corporate audits. He formerly served as a Special Trial Attorney, where he was lead respondent’s counsel or co-counsel in some of the most significant cases in the U.S. Tax Court.
