About the Program

On behalf of the BHBA’s Entertainment Law Section, Jonathan Handel, a Harvard-educated entertainment/technology attorney, journalist, media commentator and writer in Los Angeles, is moderating a specially set panel with esteemed entertainment law mediators Greg Derin, Angela Reddock-Wright, and Joel M. Grossman and noted Professors Clark Freshman and Pamela Conley Ulich to discuss how different techniques can help mediate labor negotiations in situations like current impasses affecting the entertainment guilds. The issues in play include reduced wages due to streaming services, job precarity, and AI regulation.
