He has over a decade of legal experience, including structured finance deal work at a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C., and serving as in-house counsel for a bureau within the U.S. Department of the Treasury. More recently, Colin worked as an attorney with the SEC, focusing on securities laws and compliance mandates affecting private and smaller reporting companies.
Kate is an attorney and Senior Legal Analyst at Bloomberg Law, responsible for corporate governance legal analysis on the platform. Her background is in compliance and securities law. Prior to her current role, she served as in-house counsel for a medical research firm. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Kate worked as a solo practitioner and business consultant, providing legal counsel to small businesses.
